The Law Firm is officially open by appointment only. The office is closed for all  Federal Holidays  and Pennsylvania Holidays , as well as when  inclement weather   causes the courts to close.    

Initial Consultation:

Ms. Lynn charges $125 for her initial 30 minute consultation. This consult fee must be paid in advance by either cash or check. At the end of the consultation, Ms. Lynn will quote you her fee for representation. This fee does not include costs such as expert witnesses, appraisers, court reporters, or other service providers. The fee quoted does not include court costs or filing fees; however, all of those costs will be explained in full.

You are encouraged to bring in any relevant documentation such as reports or pleadings for Attorney Lynn to review. It can be helpful to write your questions down in advance so that your initial consultation will be thorough and complete concerning your most important questions.

The consultation is confidential. Lori, the firm's legal assistant, generally participates in intial consultations.

Fees: 

Attorney time is billed at the hourly rate of $250.   Paralegal time is billed at the hourly rate of $75.  Family law cases require an initial retainer placed in our trust account, and then monthly billing thereafter.

For document preparation, 50% is due at the initial consultation (a non-refundable fee) and the balance is due at or before the document execution.

Billing: 

The Law Offices of Kate Lynn, PC bills clients periodically and our invoices are always due upon receipt. Ms. Lynn will withdraw from a case for non-payment of attorney fees.
